Canon PowerShot SD900

Canon has released a new digital camera in the 'S' series, the Canon Powershot SD900. This is a beautiful 10 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. The PowerShot SD900 also has a 2.5inch LCD screen. The shutter speed is relatively slow somewhere between f/2.8 and f/4.9.

You can also take short clips at 30 frames per second at VGA resolution, or with 15 frames per second at 1024 768 resolution. According to the CNET review, you can take the photo as quick as 1.3 seconds from poweron, and a photo every 2.3 seconds after that. If you enable the flash option then it will take a bit more than three seconds which is also not too bad.

The Canon Powershot SD900 will cost you about $480 and is not that expensive. I'd give it a decent 7.5/10.
